JennyW: Hello Everyone! Just checking in to see if anyone wants to get this group going again! Hope all is well where ever you live! 2024-08-14, 08:21:59

Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

A sincere welcome to all the new posters., and a Happy Birthday to Angela!

This has been a tiring day for me.... an infusion treatment that lasted 3 hours., a very expensive drug to treat my rheumatoid arthritis.

My physician that has been treating me for this disease, announced today that he is moving out of the city, to teach at a teaching hospital.  I asked if I could still see him (by commuting), and he said no, that he won't be seeing patients on an out-patient basis.

Please pray that I find another rheumatologist.... very necessary for the type of arthritis that I have.

Friends of ours phoned tonight to say that their house was broken into yesterday.  They were only out 45 minutes.  Someone had to be watching.  Nothing of any value was taken, but several rooms were ransacked, eggs thrown about the kitchen, flour and sugar canisters over turned.  A real mess....sounds like the work of kids!

Their front door was kicked in, and had to be replaced.  Something like this makes one very nervous.  They only live a short distance from us.

Enough of my "glum" news!

Iain:  I do pray for you on a regular basis.  I do appreciate your posts so much.

Judy Mc I'm sorry to hear about your neighbors being broken into.  It is scary.  It is also sad that there are people who do not respect the property of others.  Sounds like vandals who somehow seem to enjoy tearing up other people's things.

I hope you all have a good rest this evening.

Good evening to everyone...it was an interesting day of posting.  Pat...are you the one playing the piano?  The links are nice and certainly helpful.

I am like others today and feeling tired.  Sometimes Arthritis can make the spirit weary too.  My morning devotions was all about how we are not in a legal contract with God.  Our failures won't cancel the relationship.  Certainly a relief to all of us who simply plod along, tripping over our past mistakes.  I am happy to place my faith in Jesus, rather than be cancelled by my mistakes.  God has promised that it is a binding relationship and I trust it is so!

Will spend time praying for all of you and hope that all  things go well.  God Bless, Liz.

Pat

Hi Everyone...

First of all, "No", I'm not playing the piano.  I would love to do this though but I don't have the equipment to do so.

I'm so glad that you're enjoying the music.  I love it and I always hope that it's enjoyed by others.

Sorry about your doctor, Judy. That's really too bad.

I hope that Angela comes in and we can have a party!!!

:)Hello to all:  I have come back from the trip to Kansas, etc.  We saw a lot of places and I am just now getting back to the computer.  I don't know if I will even try to 'catch up' but will just start where I am.  I see some new faces here and am glad to see the regulars. Iain, you will be in my prayers tonight as your hurts are felt by a lot of us.  You have been an inspiration with your devotions and I hope you continue.  Pat and Etta SueI know you must have had a great time on your trip.  I only drove 2400 miles..no where near what you drove.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you,  Angela!  and to all the others who I have not mentioned..God Bless.

Kathy, what part of Kansas did you visit?  I live in the SW corner of the state, near Colorado and Oklahoma.
