Don: Hey Judy, It's been a long time. Hope you are doing well. 2024-12-02, 22:41:41

JennyW: Hello Everyone! Just checking in to see if anyone wants to get this group going again! Hope all is well where ever you live! 2024-08-14, 08:21:59

Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

Carol: My husband Don is with the angels.....Our family was able to hold  ourselves together for the last moments.  Juar rhoufhr you might want to know. 2022-04-29, 23:35:15

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

Thanks to Iaian for this morning's devotion and to Pat for posting it.  It seems I let an opportunity slip by so often when a door is open that I don't even see.  Many times it will dawn on me hours later that I should have said "this" or "that" and didn't.  But the Holy Spirit is helping me to see more clearly and give me the words that are needed.

I've heard somewhere before, too, about maggots in a wound being beneficial.  Doesn't sound right, though, does it?  :o  Anyway Gitsie is getting the care she needs and Marilyn is getting the peace of mind she needs and that's what we've been asking.

Another beautiful day and it's supposed to be this way until Saturday.   That's good news for the people at Saratoga Race Track and the merchants in the city of Saratoga.  This is the racing season and many of them depend on the tourist income now to keep them through the winter.  Some people even move out of their homes for the month and rent them for exhorbitant prices to people who come up from New York City and even further just for the races. ::)

Marilyn

I have Gitsie home form the hospital with a whole lot of stitches and three drains in two different sets of stitches. She drank a lot of water when I brought her in but hasn't touched her food yet.

I am in between work and class so I must go for now.

Marilyn, she is probably running a fever with the infections and right now needs fluids much more than food.  I'm sure she'll make up for lost time when she feels like eating again.   ;)

Good evening.  One of those busy busy days for me.  I hope all went well for you.

I am really excited.  I had  meeting today with a lady who is going to be leading a post-abortion Bible study, and I get to help with it.  We will be helping these women understand why they feel they way they do (many women who have had abortions suffer depression and chemical dependency) and help them begin the road to healing, psychologically and spiritually.  I don't know about your part of the country, but here in my area, you can stand up and admit most anything and get love and forgiveness, but if you stand up and say you are gay, or you have had an abortion, there is not a lot of sympathy or help for you.  It is truly a sad situation.  That will begin next week.

No funny Travis stories, today.  Sorry.

I trust that Jerry is continuing to improve, and Etta is getting the proper amount of rest.

Good night (or morning, depending on when you read this) and have an awesome Wednesday.

love
