Don: Hey Judy, It's been a long time. Hope you are doing well. 2024-12-02, 22:41:41

JennyW: Hello Everyone! Just checking in to see if anyone wants to get this group going again! Hope all is well where ever you live! 2024-08-14, 08:21:59

Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

Carol: My husband Don is with the angels.....Our family was able to hold  ourselves together for the last moments.  Juar rhoufhr you might want to know. 2022-04-29, 23:35:15

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

Ruth Ann, I hope the car was parked while you read the newspaper!  ;)

Good to have you back!

It is still raining here in our corner of Kansas.  While we are really glad to have it--nice, slow, soaking rain--I do pray for relief for Colorado!  Please, Lord, send the rain down on those awful fires instead.

Hi everyone on a near perfect day here in Georgia.  It was 64 degrees and low humidity when I returned from McDonald's.  I had two digests in my mail box this morning as was thinking yesterday I hadn't seen the digest.  So I have a lot of postings to read this morning.  I stayed home yesterday and finished working on Pat's new desktop.  I plan another day at home today and will watch some college football this afternoon and rest as was tired yesterday and not feeling real peppy today.  It was a busy week so it is refresh time this weekend.

Janet, I haven't noticed you complaining but rather just being honest about things because that is part of your life for that day.  Glad you were able to get some sleep.

Marilyn, it sounds like you have your hands full with your dogs.

Al, that is experience I think all of us have or are having with our posts.  Just good to know it has posted even with the error message.  There must be a little software glitch and sure it will be fixed soon.

Judy, I think paying over $50 at a fill up is a lot, however know there is a difference in our money in terms of comparisons.

Carol, I have seen several posts for Jenny and she hasn't mentioned any problems with flooding in her immediate area.

Ruth Ann, sometimes doing a lot of nothing is what is called for as we recharge our energy.  I see it is cool up your way this morning.

Carol

Marilyn:  FYI, there have been no evacuations in Aurora that I have seen - that is a large area.  Our news on t.v. is flashing all the time.

This is a huge rain for our area.  It equates to having over 100 inches of snowfall.  I am afraid people won't be able to return for a long time because of so much road damage.

We had a call last night to pray for our good neighbors.  They have been visiting son in Missouri and they are in a town in Kansas with the husband and our friend in hospital ER.  His temperature went up & he was on morphine.  He has cancer.  I think it is about a six hour drive for her when he is released & I am wondering if their daughter will go there to drive them back... we are awaiting news.

Larry:  Glad you are having a near perfect day in Georgia.  It is in the high 50's here this morning.

Having not heard from you  Ruth Anne, I was ready to call you today.

John and I are heading out, we have a few errands to run, John is ready to go and I am sitting with the computer.  Got to hurry!!

Will be back later.

Hi everyone on an overcast Sunday morning.  Yesterday was sort of a wasted day for me as had one of those days when I just needed to lay down and close my eyes and was having some chest pressure and occasional light angina.  I did that from 11 am until after 5 pm and then went to bed about 8:30 and got a good nights sleep.  I feel much better this morning and plan on attending church and going to to lunch.  My friend Rod seems to be doing much better, perhaps from the medicine and/or the pacemaker.  He is able to walk again and feeling stronger.  Another friend who had a 4 bypass heart surgery a few weeks ago is also doing fine and hopes to return to our coffee group soon.  Stacey seems to be over the flu and felt well enough to get out and go somewhere for a little bit yesterday.  So things are looking brighter today.  What a difference a day can make.

Carol, glad to read that Aurora hasn't been featured on the news.  My aunt used to live there in a retirement community and think my first cousin also lives there.  As I recall that is north of Denver.  Don't you and Jenny live south of Denver?  So sorry to hear about your friend ending up in the hospital while away from home.  At least they have some family at hand.

Judy, wise to make your message short if John was waiting for you to go run errands.  :)

Good Sunday Morning everyone!  May our Lord richly bless each of you today.

Our plans to go to a pot luck luncheon after church have fallen through, I have meals to prepare for this coming week.

I will be back later as we have to hurry and get ready for church!

Carol

Ongoing disaster here as far as the poor people in harms way.    Aurora is a N e suburb of Denver and now has bee hit hard.   I am listening to Canadian radio with Radioman. So soothing.

we went out for some groceries and now notice water is rising in the ravine but we are not too concerned.  It would have been nice to bottle up all that rain.

Ruth

It has been sometime since I was here posting but I have now got caught up in the reading.
Yesterday we went to a boast beef dinner in a community center, a lovely meal the tickets had been given to us but it is not a location I would go to very often as it is on the east side of Toronto, too far to drive most of the roads and also most the roads were under construction as well.

For me this week seems full of appointments, the one tomorrow I hope to get more understanding from the spec, it that does not occur I will be seeking another openion. The pain in my knee is just not going away.

It has started to rain here as well.

Now to see if this entry goes well.

Ruth

I got the warning as well and it is so slow
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.  Proverbs 3:6

Pat

Hi Ruth!

We're working on things.  Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

Good to have you back, Ruth!  We have had lovely rains here in SW Kansas, and are so thankful.  But too much rain is destructive, as is water in the wrong places, as we are experiencing again in our house.  :(
