Don: Hey Judy, It's been a long time. Hope you are doing well. 2024-12-02, 22:41:41

JennyW: Hello Everyone! Just checking in to see if anyone wants to get this group going again! Hope all is well where ever you live! 2024-08-14, 08:21:59

Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

Carol: My husband Don is with the angels.....Our family was able to hold  ourselves together for the last moments.  Juar rhoufhr you might want to know. 2022-04-29, 23:35:15

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

I've had a couple of busy days.   Thursday morning at 2:00 a.m. I went to "check the plumbing" and discovered I had a female problem.     As soon as my doctor's office opened I called and she wanted me to go to the ER where they would have equipment for ultra-sound, etc.  After over three hours of all kinds of tests and eight vials of blood I was told I have a bladder infection/UTI, a slight thickening of the uterus wall, one small polyp and a few fibroids.  Armed with a prescription for anti-biotics and instructions to contact an ob/gyn asap, I went home and napped.

Yesterday I called the ob/gyn and after about 4 hours of phone calls and st least three times "we'll get back to you right away" got an appointment for the 21st.  He wants to take a biopsie of the uterus wall.   :(  Then I went to get the prescription filled.  Meanwhile, the symptoms that started all this have stopped.  I don't know if that's good or bad.  :-\

Hmmm Maybe this is TMI.

Jeanie, I pray our loving Father is healing you even as I type!  Those UTIs can be quite troubling, and in older folks, can cause a lot of mental fogginess.  I pray if any of the problem remains, they will find and know how to 'fix' it.  Hugs to you!

Darrel has about decided not to have that surgery, as the mass has diminished to about a third of the original size.  His back is feeling better today, too.  Tonight we go to Dodge to the dinner theater to see "Arsenic and Old Lace."  Should be a really fun evening.  It's always fun to spend time with our friends.

I went to the care home and spent some time with Beth this morning.  She had received, via my email, a really sweet letter from a young lady whose family used to be our neighbors out here.  They all took scuba lessons and went on several trips with us, and we always enjoyed the kids so much.  Now Trisha is married, with two children of her own, but she still thinks of Beth, Prays for her, and contacts her periodically.  So I asked Beth what she wanted to reply and we got a page and a half letter written.  Now I need to type it into an email and send it!  I so appreciate those who have not forgotten about Beth, and let her know her life is an inspiration to them.  :)

It's really windy here again today.  Ugh.

Hi everyone on this Sunday morning.  It is an overcast morning but no rain in the forecast until tonight.  So they should be able to complete the Master's without any rain delays.  It has been a record-breaking tourney with this young 21 year old tearing up the old records and has led the first three days.  I am looking forward to the final round today as have really enjoyed this event.  We will attend church this morning and eat out somewhere for lunch and take the rest of the day easy at least until the Comcast Tech comes late this afternoon.

BonnieA, we have been missing your postings.  Sure hope you can get over that strep throat quickly as know that is miserable.

Hi, friends, I've been in for a couple of days, so hope to go get supper this evening.

It's very quiet on the floor where I live, so it's almost easy to forget that I'm in an apartment rather than a freestanding home.

Y'all have a wonderful remainder of the day.

Ruth Ann
