Hi, friends,

It's been a much more quiet day today. Now, to prepare Christmas cards for the children and grands, and fix my potato salad to take to the dinner tomorrow.

Christmas is such a special time of the year, and it's so good to have a family that has faith and teaches the children the true meaning of the celebration.

Im glad it wasn't me Jeanne. I'm sorry for both the trucker and the family of the State trooper that this unfortunate incident happened. You got the age right however and also the Ontario Canada location but I was no where near there this week. I ended up going to Virginia and North Carolina and then at the end off the week to northern Quebec here in Canada. Lots of snow here now. Winter has arrived. some time soon I hope to make it to the truck stop in Wilton so we can sit and have a visit.
Ruth Anne I read your message about when i may get to Nashville again. i would like that but unfortunately I don't seem to get that way anymore. going to have to talk to my dispatcher about that to see if we still have loads going that way. I read in the trade magazine that the truck stop in Nashville has undergone some reno's and is looking pretty nice apparently. be nice to get there and check it out and have a visit.
Well going to run for now as I ma busy making a pot of dutch pea soup. One of my favorite soups. I do have fun cooking sometimes in the kitchen and give Judy a break. It used to be more fun when I could cook big meals for the whole family. God Bless everyone.
