Don: Hey Judy, It's been a long time. Hope you are doing well. 2024-12-02, 22:41:41

JennyW: Hello Everyone! Just checking in to see if anyone wants to get this group going again! Hope all is well where ever you live! 2024-08-14, 08:21:59

Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

Good Morning Everyone!

Whewwww.....  So happy to see you here Karen!  Your lovely graphics seem to "Open the Curtains" of our Cafe here and that let's the sunshine in!  So happy, too, that you had a great visit with your daughter and her fiance.

Well, I'm off to the dentist--not one of my favorite places to go but...

Talk to you all later...

Hi everyone.  This is suppose to be the hottest day of the summer for us here in Georgia in the low 90's with humidity.  I went to coffee at the senior center this morning and now am in for the rest of the day.  I do have to call Comcast again this morning to clear up an item--something I dread doing.  Pat will be out this morning and going to lunch with her friends.

Pat, I agree going to the dentist doesn't rate highly on my list of favorite things to do either.

Janet

Hello friends,

Another busy day!  My sister Shirley is here, and we have been having glorious times of prayer together.  Things are happening in the spirit realm for Beth and Joh--so exciting!  I will tell you all about it as it continues to unfold.

Larry, it's "only" 104 here today.  (Pant, pant!)

Hi from the island.

I do stop in to read some times......just not big on posting.

We are enjoying lovely weather most days....nice mix of sun and rain to keep one guessing what to wear.  The garden is really lovely and thanks to my daughter spraying her special stuff, the deer have not had a feast this year.

I'm was watching the little young grey and black squirrels playing and eating together and thinking how wonderful no one told them they were supposed to be. Enemies.  We have had a lost tame canary coming to eat and it has been singing its little heart out...the finches have been taking care of it and it comes and goes with their flock.  We are going to try and get it into a cage as it is very tame and in danger from the cats.  Not sure how this will work????  I find the garden a nice place to take away the distress from all the news.

I am Chugging along....all the usual aches and pains of a person in her 80s, but
still being blessed compared to many. I finally saw a surgeon and had a shot in my hand, so can once again puddle in my acrylics and watercolours.  Do any of you remember the Irish Rovers? Will Miller is a fine artist and has a gallery in the area.  Now that should inspire me!

Will not attempt to address all of the posts. Have prayed for everyone and trust in God to direct our lives.

God Bless.
Liz

CHANGE NOT THY FAITH WITH CHANGING TIMES

Pat

Ohhh, Liz!!!!!  :dogrun:

It's so wonderful to read your post.  I think of you often and wonder how you're doing.

I remember the Irish Rovers.  They were one of my favorite singing groups singing the songs of Ireland.  Is Will Miller still alive?

I have the news on as I'm typing and I just heard that in the London, Ontario Costco store today, a mother and two youngsters were hurt and have life threatening injuries when a car suddenly went into reverse outside and went roaring into the main doors and into the store while everyone tried to get out of the way.  But this mother and the two youngsters didn't have a chance to do that.  :(

Well, Liz, yes, get out those paints and paint some nice photos!  I'd sure like to see them!

Talk to you soon!

Luvyu loads! <3

Hi everyone.  It is going to be another very hot day for Georgia, up to 91 degrees with sun and only a slim chance of rain.  I don't have anything major planned today.  I do plan on attending a meeting later this morning and of course, will go to Saturday coffee at McDonald's.  Yesterday was a quiet and enjoyable day.  We did talk with our son yesterday evening.  Our DIL, Sheila, is not doing well and is a great worry to him.

Janet, you sure have us beat on the temperature but I am not envious in any way.  Glad to hear of the exciting things for Beth and John.

Liz, there you are.  I have been missing your postings.  I just like to know that my friends here are OK.  I have a friend who showed me pictures of his garden totally void of any plants and a dear standing at the end of it.  What kind of stuff does your daughter use on her garden?  It sounds like you really enjoy the garden.

Pat, so sad about the car out of control and slamming into the Costco and the injuries.  Some of our stores now have big barrier columns embedded the in the cement to prevent such occurrences although guess a car could slam through a wall.

Hi, friends,

It's been a very busy week for me. So, I'm peeking in the door. I've read all your interesting posts and hope to have more time next week to be in here.

Love to all,
Ruth Ann

Hi everyone on this beautiful Sunday morning.  It will be another hot day here in Georgia.  We will go to church this morning and out to lunch, either with the group or just Pat and I.  This afternoon Pat is meeting two other friends and they are going to see the play "Grease" at the local community theater.  I will be here at home where it is nice and cool and where I can rest and listen to Don's Classical Music program, which I always enjoy on Sunday afternoon when it is broadcast.

After a long day of cutting wood and bringing it in from the bush John and I are weary.  Muscles ache and we are slow moving.  Thankfully this is Sunday and the day of rest.  Rest we will.  It is overcast today probably a good thing.

Have a great day folks.
