JennyW: Hello Everyone! Just checking in to see if anyone wants to get this group going again! Hope all is well where ever you live! 2024-08-14, 08:21:59

Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

:PUgh.  The wind is blowing like crazy here today.  I DO NOT LIKE THE HIGH WINDS!!!   ;)  Surprised, aren't you?   :ticked:

Larry, believe it or not, it has been three years since we hosted the reunion here, but it FEELS like it was last year!  Before the wind got so high, we got more done in the garage this morning.  I just hope this wind doesn't fill it full of dirt again and make us start all over again.

I am still waiting on delivery of the children's book.  Tate isn't the same since the parents turned it over to their son.  Very poor service this time around, and slow.

They said on the news today that just since last year, 57,000 unaccompanied minors have been smuggled across our borders!  The system is being overwhelmed.  WHY don't they enforce our laws?  They say they can't, but I'm not buying that!

Okay, off my soapbox.  I WILL bless the Lord at all times, His praise shall continually be in my mouth!

Hi everyone on a nice Saturday morning.  We enjoyed a short period of rain last evening but only a slight chance of rain today.  I have a busy morning planned as after coffee I took the documents we have accumulated to be shredded at the credit union.  They offer this service once a year.  I noticed this morning that my brakes on the PT Cruiser were squealing and so I stopped at Midas to get them checked and replaced if needed. They told me that while the rotors on the back were under spec the pads were fine and so they didn't recommend that I do the work now as it isn't a safety hazard.  Then  stopped at the Honey Baked Ham store for some ham for tomorrow as Scott and Sam are coming over to spend the day with us.  We haven't seen them since the first of March. Pat is preparing some side  dishes and a cake today for tomorrow. Finally had to stop at Walgreen's for a card I need on Monday. That will be plenty for today.

Marilyn, I take it the clinic never turn anyone away if they exceed what their appointment was expected to be.

Janet, the wind blowing all the time is one of my lasting memories of having lived in Oklahoma.  Here we occasionally have a slight breeze or maybe a day with some higher winds but it is the not the norm.  Sorry you are having trouble getting delivery of your book.  Poor service is not the way to build a business.

Hope everyone has an enjoyable day.

Marilyn

You are correct Larry we don't turn anyone away if they bring more animals that are scheduled. In the afternoon we do insist on appointments being made if people just walk in with an animal. Because we are usually at the max by that time. or already finished for the day.

Hi everyone.  I am looking forward to this Father's Day as our son and DIL will be here this morning to spend a few hours with us.  Pat has the meal ready.  It is a nice morning with only the small chance of a late afternoon shower.

Marilyn, thanks for the info on how the clinic works.

John, good to see your posting.  Is Judy OK as we haven't seen her posting for a few days although know she has been having some serious health issues.  How is retirement by this time?  Is Judy keeping you busy.

Pat

Happy Fathers' Day!!!
