Don: Hey Judy, It's been a long time. Hope you are doing well. 2024-12-02, 22:41:41

JennyW: Hello Everyone! Just checking in to see if anyone wants to get this group going again! Hope all is well where ever you live! 2024-08-14, 08:21:59

Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

Carol: My husband Don is with the angels.....Our family was able to hold  ourselves together for the last moments.  Juar rhoufhr you might want to know. 2022-04-29, 23:35:15

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

Hello this cloudy windy damp fall day. Mel had to put his boat in the garage as the weather has not been in his favor. He keeps the boat outside but there has been enough snow and rain to slow his winterizing down. In his words my car belongs in the garage while the boat needs to be out and covered.

This couple of days has been very stressful but time will heal.
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.  Proverbs 3:6

My hair is frosted - naturally  ;)

Janet:   I need some toughing up too.  We work at something daily but it isn't exercise.  Right now, Don is going to hang two blinds in the living room and I cannot help until he wants me to hand him something - I am in the way.  Washing clothes - we had to get out of here one day and stopped at a thrift store that was a madhouse - everything $1.00.  I found a new Eddy Bauer sweater - yippee and Don found shorts I think , he wears shorts every day here in AZ and when we will try to drive home next week, he will have to change to winter wear.  A big storm is predicted.  Hope we can go.

Very interesting stuff in genealogy about the different Swedish spellings of our names - they changed everything when they came to the US.  And, they even learned English.

Today, a friend is discussing hospice for his wife (dear friends).  I wish that I could have seen her but visitors were not allowed the entire month she has been in a coma.

Larry:  Good wishes for Georgia game!

When we get home, they may be starting to put on a new roof.  For the life of me, cannot figure out how they can stain and repair our deck with cold temps arriving.

Hi, friends,

It's good to read all your posts. I'm sorry I've been missing for a couple of days - life just got ahead of me. I left home yesterday morning before 11am, and didn't get back till almost 7pm. So, having gotten overtired yesterday, I slept really late today.

Now, since it's too late for my son to call, I may go to Walmart and then eat grilled fish for dinner.

Y'all have a good rest of the day withour Lord.

Love to all,
Ruth Ann
...his compassions fail not.  They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

Howdy!  I was up and out early this morning to go paint with my friends.  We painted a cute scarecrow with a pumpkin head, some painted him on corrugated metal maple leaf cutouts, but I did mine on a book.  I have no place to use the metal thing.  My friend Winona just got home at 1:00 this morning from a missions trip to South Africa, put the main dish for our lunch in her oven and went to bed.  Up again at 6:30, so I imagine she is sleeping now!  I made the rest of the meal, a big bowl of frog eye salad and fruit fajitas for dessert.

Yep, Larry, I was a redhead yesterday.  I am so frustrated with trying to find someone who will do my hair to suit me, so I bought a wig!  They had a big sale on them (catalog) and Darrel said he thought I would look good with red hair, so......It is a light auburn.  Curtis really did a double-take when we met for lunch yesterday.  He said, "Your hair is....different!)  I told him yes, I got it wet and it rusted!  So he said maybe I should check my pipes!  ;)  I think it will take some getting used to in order for me to feel comfortable in a wig.  But hey!  People wear glasses, hearing aids, orthopedic shoes and all kinds of things--women wear makeup, men wear beards or mustaches, (or not), so why should I feel uncomfortable if I want to pop on a wig on a bad hair day?  (Yes, I am trying to convince myself!)

I am worn out, feeling the results of too little sleep on Thursday night.
