My son took this portrait of me when I retired from the reserve department five years ago.
If you have a problem with mice or rats in your basement, print this image and place it where it can be easily seen by the little critters, they will scramble for the nearest exit never to return!

Now, we'll just have to see photos of your son and the rest of your family, Ben!
He's a great photographer as well as you. Guess he had good lessons from you.
Do you do digital at all?
Pat,
No digital for me. Two reasons. One I'm too close to retirement to spend $40,000.00 for everything I need to go completely digital, and two, I sell lots of prints 16 x 20 and larger. Digital images look good in 4 x 5, 5 x 7, and 8 x 10, but when approaching large sizes they start looking "funny" (pixelated.) Also digital cannot record shadow detail like a well exposed negative can. With a good neg one can expect to get shadow detail even from a lighting ratio of 4 to 1, with digital you cannot go beyond 2 to 1.

Well, hellooo, Ben! Lookin' good there! ;D
Hello Ben. Nice to "SEE" you.
Nice to 'see' you, Ben!!!! Yes, we would like to see your family, too!
I think all men in a uniform are handsome........:)
Yes, it will be nice to see your family, Ben. Just add them here and we can change the title of this topic to "Ben and family".
