Don: Hey Judy, It's been a long time. Hope you are doing well. 2024-12-02, 22:41:41

JennyW: Hello Everyone! Just checking in to see if anyone wants to get this group going again! Hope all is well where ever you live! 2024-08-14, 08:21:59

Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

Carol: My husband Don is with the angels.....Our family was able to hold  ourselves together for the last moments.  Juar rhoufhr you might want to know. 2022-04-29, 23:35:15

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

Not a hundred yards from where I photographed Red Veil, this is where the bus stops near home, desperate for a bit of colour in my life I found this barrier and sign on the pavement adjacent to the bus shelter :'( You'd have to be up against the roof to get any shelter from this thing, must show it you sometime, that's why he's putting his umbrella up. Actually resurfacing the roads on the estate, what for when they were already OK, and yet most of the roads in town are falling apart. You've heard of born again Christian's? Well we've got born again bureaucrat's running this town, still a find like this does help when mobilitys impaired.

Interesting sign......

You are a patient man waiting around like that.  Not sure John could handle it!  Mind you here in North Ontario most people have at least one car many have two or three.  So waiting for buses is not as popular as in the city.  The closest bus comes about twice a day, at inappropriate times and is about 15KM's away.  So we absolutely do need a car.

I do admire your unique eye though!

Jeanne Lee

There's no bus service at all in our town.   :(

Nice demonstration of road construction conditions.

Jeanne didn't you know there are only 2 seasons?  Winter and Construction!!!!

Jeanne Lee

You're right, Judy.  I did forget that.  And into that construction situation add tons more traffic from tourists and you know how things are around here during June, July and August.

Ant the tourists come north to get away from the heat only to suffocate up here too.  I am not complaining....I love the heat!

How is it in England Michael?

Barbarian, that warning sign is a hoot!  It really tells a story, doesn't it?

Pity there aren't two hands entering the sign on the left, and that aligator looks like he's just made one big mistake he's going to regret for a long while. Mind you with an incline that steep there should be a second sign showing a pedestrian leaping out of the way of a wheelchair.

Don

That might be a good ride in a wheelchair until you get to the bottom and have to make that turn!
