Last year, my younger daughter and I fixed up the spare bedroom and made it into a computer room.   This is Mrs. Barbarian's side.

She wanted bright yellow walls,birch desks and shelves, a gold opal glass light fixture, and royal blue rug.  It's truly a happy room.

That's not a mattress on the floor; it's Bagel's bed.  She likes to sleep next to me while I work.

And yes, my desk is usually that cluttered.

Oh, and the blue clock?   A Frog clock that croaks on the hour, a different species for each of the 12 hours.   Almost as good as striking the hour.  (if it's spring peeper, it's 11:00)
