This one was made up, its actually a lane that's called Branch Road, leads from the Boundary with Blackburn, over to a Village called Tockholes. Mention the name Sour Pig Lane in front of people, and they start wondering why they've never heard mention of it before. There are three housing developments in Darwen, one close to this spot, we call, Hard Shoulder Estate, as it is practically built on the very edge of the motorway, that has blocked out this view. Another one called Veal Crate Estate, the rooms are so small you can barely get a settee in. And one called, Guess The Father Estate, but we won't go into that one.
