Don: Hey Judy, It's been a long time. Hope you are doing well. 2024-12-02, 22:41:41

JennyW: Hello Everyone! Just checking in to see if anyone wants to get this group going again! Hope all is well where ever you live! 2024-08-14, 08:21:59

Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

Carol: My husband Don is with the angels.....Our family was able to hold  ourselves together for the last moments.  Juar rhoufhr you might want to know. 2022-04-29, 23:35:15

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

Elvis lives!  I got the new lens today and I am very please with it.  It's going to take a little getting-used-to.  Especially, with the EC-20 on it!  Not a lot of PP done on these.  Shot on a VERY rainy, gloomy day.

Thanks, Pat!  Believe me, if I hadn't got a outrageously good price on this lens, I surely wouldn't have it.  It's a real beaut!

Gary, what make was it again?    I must invest in a teleconverter.

Actually, Gary, I'd love for you to join Photography Cafe and put that first one in.  If you put the other two in, some would say "Too bad the whole tail isn't in the photo" or whatever (which is true) but that first one is amazing.

The lens is a Zuiko 50-200mm.  The teleconverter is Olympus EC-20.

Many thanks, Buddy.  I've very please with it.  This is only my second lens in the professional grade and it makes a HUGE difference.

Hi Gary-nice photos here. I was falling asleep last nite trying to go through these, but up n awake, now :D. How much more reach do you get with the TC? Seems like a good idea to have one. My bird photos wouldn't be as nice as the ones posted lately. So crisp & clear...
God's Word is truth, You can trust and believe what he says more than any human word!!!--"Because he loves me," says the LORD, "I will rescue him;I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call upon me, and I will answer him;I will be with him in trouble,I will deliver him and honor him. With long life will I satisfy him and show him my salvation."

Achievements & Blessings...

What amazes me with all the bird photos that have been posted lately is that you can see the crisp markings of the feathers.  That is awesome.

It depends on the TC and the TYPE of TC, Juanita.  I have one that screws on my bridge camera lens barrel that is 1.7X (Olympus TCON-17) but, I don't DARE screw it on any lens I have for my DSLR because it's MUCH too heavy and would mess up the motors.  For that I use an Olympus EC-20.  It goes between the camera body and the lens.  It gives me 2x the reach.  Oly also makes a EC-14 that provides 1.4x.  The problem with them is that you lose 2 full stops with the EC-20 and one full stop with the EC-14 so they need to be used on bright lenses.  The key to crisp, clear images is to use a tripod and the fastest shutter speed you can get away with.
