JennyW: Hello Everyone! Just checking in to see if anyone wants to get this group going again! Hope all is well where ever you live! 2024-08-14, 08:21:59

Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

Here is something you don't often see in Mule Deer country!  He's a twin, but certainly not identical...

He is beautiful.  WOW.  Are they yours?

Do you see many wild horses where you are?

BigSkyKen

Judy, these are wild mule deer along the Musselshell River.  There is a band of wild horses in the Pryor Mountains, about an hour south of where we live.  I've never been down there to see them, but I understand that since the horse slaughter laws changed several years ago, many people have been dumping their old or crippled horses there, because you have to pay to leave them at an auction barn.  Not a really good deal...

Thanks for your comments and taking the time to check out the pictures ladies.  Judy, I may have mis-understood your question this morning when you asked if these are mine.  At the time, I was rushing to get ready for church and took your question to ask if the deer were mine, but as I read the question now, I am thinking you may have been asking if I took the pictures.  If that was your question, yes, I took them yesterday afternoon.  I may head down there again tonight to see if I can get a little better shot of the fawn, as the sun was hiding behind the clouds yesterday and he wasn't very close.  But then, a lazy Sunday afternoon at home is awful hard to pry myself away from!

If anyone knows what I am doing wrong when uploading the images that makes them appear small, please let set me straight.  Whatever mistake I am making, I have been all too consistent at it!

Thanks again.

Ken, after you browse to find the picture you want to post, instead of clicking on "Insert Attachment", look just above the smileys and you'll find a drop down menu.  Click there on "inline fullsize attachment".  (I fixed them for you.)

However, if you are posting photos that are in your Christian Photographers gallery album, it's best to link directly to that, rather than use the attachment feature.  You can find instructions for doing that if you Click Here

Thanks Jeanne Lee, I will give it a try on a new post.  I would really like to get it right for a change!

Ken - I was adding to my post while you were writing.  Please look back at my post.   ;)

Not a genius at all, Ken.  Your photo of the elk calf is great and as you said, "it worked" using the fullsize attachment.  Now, how about posting one directly from your album instead of using the attach feature!

You were right the first time.  I was wondering if the mule deer were yours.  I understood tht the pictures were yours.

I am enjoying your pictures keep them coming.

BigSkyKen

Gosh Jeanne Lee, two new tricks in one day for this old dog may be too much!  Whenever I do another post, I will try it that way.

Judy, I guess I over-thought the situation too much, just ended up confusing myself!

Thanks Juanita.  Evidently he's been wandering on the highway in the evening, but hopefully he stands out enough to avoid getting hit!
