I got a new camera so I had to go to the river and try it out.  I pre-ordered the Canon 7D Mark II the first day it was announced on 09/15/2014.  I received it last Tuesday.  Here are some shots from today.

I'm jealous! 

My 20D is about shot and this would sure be a nice upgrade - But - I got too many other projects consuming my funds.

Great work Buddy! Now go capture some light with that thang.

Of course we all know it's not just the camera but also of great importance is the expertise of the person putting that camera to use.

Sorry I haven't posted much. A bit stitched up at the moment  . Be a couple of months yet before I can go out birding 

Beryl, it's good to know you're home, at least.  I'm sure you're anxious to get back out with the birds, but be sure to follow all directions and don't try to rush your healing and recovery.

I have to see the nurse tomorrow to have  my scaffolding out. I have only seen the area once on the day I came home when the nurse changed my dressing.

I think I must have seen about 300 clamps at leest.
