Isn't hr pretty.  I love their Cooo cooo.  We have them along the road we live on.  They seem to like to eat the sand.  There must be a nest nearby.

This is a beautiful picture.  YOu can see the lay of the feathers, and he seems so content to let you take this picture.

He was in my flowerbed, behind the bushes.   He seemed remarkably calm; morning doves are notoriously fearful of humans.   I feared that he was sick.   Sad to say, I found him dead this morning on my steps.

Matthew 10:29 Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and not one of them shall fall on the ground without your Father. 30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.

Awwww that is sad,  makes you wonder what was wrong.
