Don: Hey Judy, It's been a long time. Hope you are doing well. 2024-12-02, 22:41:41

JennyW: Hello Everyone! Just checking in to see if anyone wants to get this group going again! Hope all is well where ever you live! 2024-08-14, 08:21:59

Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

Carol: My husband Don is with the angels.....Our family was able to hold  ourselves together for the last moments.  Juar rhoufhr you might want to know. 2022-04-29, 23:35:15

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

They are beautiful.

It is nice that you could get so close.

Were you sitting in a chair?

Betty

Those are great. They are amazing little creatures.

This is a very nice place to take pictures of Hummingbirds. To answer your question Judy: I was actually sitting in A Rocking Chair in the shade. This one Feeder is just off the Deck of the Wildlife Center. But I had to delete a lot of photos. Some had nothing on them and some were just out of focus. It took a lot of moving the Camera with the Hummingbirds movement. I could do this because they were fighting and actually held still long enough for me to refocus. I deleted a lot of photos that I usually accept. But I only wanted the ones that had the eye gleam and part of the body in focus. Even though I was so close, I still had to use my long Telephoto to get the larger photos. I have plenty of more that I haven't even looked at yet. I appreciate all of the comments from each of you.

You have a great website, Steve!

We have a hummer feeder out our kitchen window.  I love to watch them.  It is good to know how you did these, and I understand about tossing a lot.  Isn't it wonderful that we no longer have the expense of film and developing film!

Fotobirder

Thanks Buddy! I'm glad you like my website  and you're right Judy. I use to take 20 or more roles of film per trip. Now, I can just delete the ones I don't like. I saved enough in the first year in developing charges to pay for my Digital Camera.Hope you're having a blessed day and My the Lord bless & keep you.
