I have been thinking these little guys were called Sparrows. Don't know why. They are swallows. [attachimg=#]

They are pretty birds with the emerald/blue glow about them.  Often when I see them flitting around they seem to be black.  This picture shows their true colour.

We have some swallows in this area.  I think they are barn swallows with beautiful irridescent bright blue feathers, and are they ever bold!

I never see them perched, except for on a power line.  This is a very nice shot! :thumbsup:
